In memory of Thomas Booker who for twenty one years occupied the Croft house Farm in Dore. Distinguished among his friends and equals by the simplicity of his manners and unvarying honesty of purpose, he passed with the respect of all, in peace and contentment through this life, and died in faithful hope of a better on. September 1st, 1862, aged 61 years. Also, Elizabeth, wife of the above who died November 18th 1882, aged 73 years. |
